The MX Mount brings the world of mullet, mixed-wheel size bikes to your Rocky Mountain Altitude 29 and Altitude Powerplay 29. This rear shock mount lets you run a 27.5” rear wheel with your 29” front wheel. This “mullet” setup provides a more playful back-end feel while letting you more confidently handle certain steep, technical terrain. What’s even better, the MX Mount achieves this wheel size change on the Altitude while maintaining very similar geometry to the bike’s original 29” setup, for a more playful feel without compromising the trail-tackling enduro-ready capability that you have come to expect from the Altitude 29.
