Troy Lee Designs D4 Composite Helmet Exile
Troy Lee Designs is known for their flawless combination of eye-catching design, technology and safety in the helmets they produce. Introducing the new D4 Composite Helmet, a stylish full-face helmet packed with top-of-the-line technology and safety features integrated into several flashy designs. The Troy Lee Designs D4 Composite Helmet Exile uses an aerospace composite shell, making it strong but also extremely lightweight. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is used to reduce rotational forces caused by angled impacts. Another new safety system integrated into the D4 is the EPP Collarbone impact system, which is a relief area that reduces the forces in the center lower section of the helmet where collarbone impacts occur. To keep the helmet light but still provide a secure closure, TLD chose titanium D-rings for a lightweight and sturdy closure system. Ten front intake ports and five overhead intake vents bring the air in and seven rear exhaust ports let the hot air escape. To put the finishing touches on, 3D cheek pads and a XT2® precision fit headliner were added inside the helmet to give you an optimal fit and maximum comfort.
