When it comes to trail riding, you can never go wrong with a hardtail. Hardtails are highly capable and versatile so you can easily conquer the trails. The Rocky Mountain Growler 50 Bike proves that the secret order of hardtail trail shredders is alive and thriving. The Growler has a 6061 alloy frame that uses 150mm of travel on the front. It features modern trail geometry, a threaded bottom bracket, Boost thru-axles, clearance for up to 2.6″ tires, and internal cable routing.
The 50 version of the Rocky Mountain Growler comes with a Shimano XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 11-51T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through technical terrain much easier. Clarks M4 4-Piston hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 Tubeless rims are paired with WTB Vigilante TCS and WTB Trail Boss G2 TCS tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Rocky Mountain Toonie Dropper Post, you’ll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.
