The 32 hole version of the Trail270, with an increased spoke count and 27mm inner width is eager to punch above its weight class. Trail270 provides the ultimate package of rigidity and backcountry-ready durability. Riders seeking to maximize stiffness to weight needn’t look beyond Trail270 32h. Thicker spokes stiffen up the ride without making it harsh, and an oversized axle efficiently delivers the power.
Industry Nine set out to create the most durable high engagement hub system possible. The result was their new Hydra rear hub which boasts an astonishing 690 points on engagement. The hub features 6 pawls that work in 6 phases, this means that all the pawls, and the teeth on them, catch the teeth on the drive ring individually instead of simultaneously. In other words, every time the drive ring moves to the next tooth, you will hear six individual clicks. This new-to-the-industry design limits and minimizes the wear and tear on the system and provides a more consistent ride. The hubs also feature a new stiffer axle system with larger bearings increasing the hubs overall longevity.
