The Castelli Prosecco Tech short sleeve is a highly-engineered base layer, specifically designed to provide moisture-wicking properties and precisely-located insulation. The Prosecco uses lightweight PrimaLoft® fabric in the areas of the base layer that commonly cover bib straps, where full insulation can quickly become too much. This thinner fabric in those areas helps provide a more even distribution of insulation, while providing exceptional moisture management for hard rides in cool temps. The Prosecco is ideally used underneath fall, spring or winter layers as a means to wick moisture away and maintain proper body temperature. To help achieve this, Castelli uses a hydrophilic treatment on the Prosecco to improve moisture wicking. The Prosecco is perfectly at home under your favorite cool weather kit.
