This tire is fitted with Schwalbe’s new Super Downhill casing, which offers maximum puncture protection and durability, with a burly carcass layer, two layers of sidewall reinforcement and a bead-to-bead protection layer. Schwalbe also threw in their Addix Ultra Soft Compound, which is the grippiest in their lineup and offers loads of traction in rough terrain. The Big Betty works perfectly on the rear wheel and pairs well with the Schwalbe Magic Mary on the front wheel.
