Riding outside in the sunshine is a great feeling that many riders strive for. However, the weather isn’t always nice outside and many riders don’t have time during the day to ride. Having an indoor trainer allows you to continue riding late into the evening or early in the morning without having to leave your house. The Garmin Tacx Flux 2 Smart Trainer has a wide simulation range, a better ride feel, and more accurate power measurement. This smart trainer can connect to popular training apps like Zwift and Garmin Tacx. It has a silent flywheel so you don’t wake up your neighbors while you’re training late in the evening or early in the morning and it has accurate power readings within 2.5%. It can realistically simulate inclines up to a 16% gradient and provides a max sprint resistance of 2000 watts. The Flux 2 Smart is compatible with bikes that have quick release axles and comes with adapters to work with 12x142mm and 12x148mm axles.

The Flux 2 Smart can be used as a stand-alone trainer without any software. It follows a progressive power curve and will increase progressively when you ride faster. It has intuitive LED lights that provide a visual confirmation when the trainer is powered and connected to a device over ANT+ or Bluetooth. Connect it to your favorite sports watch or bike computer and track all your data while you’re riding.
